Investing for your future: ETF’s, shares & building wealth long term
Introducing the next session in the WIN Masterclass Series—a monthly, online education series created by WIN members, for WIN members, designed to fit into a busy schedule.
These sessions are structured as practical micro-learning opportunities, focused on the topics our community most wants to build confidence in. Each session is led by women within the WIN network—business owners, experts and professionals sharing their knowledge in an approachable, educational and non-sales environment.
This session, hosted by WIN member Naomi Holmes, focuses on one of the most powerful tools available for building long-term wealth: investing.
For many women, investing can feel like a foreign language. ETFs, shares, markets and portfolios can seem complex or intimidating, but building your understanding doesn’t need to be overwhelming.
This practical masterclass is designed to give you greater clarity on how investing works, including what Exchange Traded Funds, or ETFs, actually are, how they differ from individual shares, and how they can be used as part of a long-term wealth-building strategy.
The session will also explore why thinking long-term often matters more than chasing short-term wins, and how to consider investments that align with your goals, your circumstances and your life.
Whether you are new to investing, curious about ETFs, or ready to feel more confident making decisions about your financial future, this session will help you build knowledge and ask better questions.
What this session will cover:
Investing fundamentals and how wealth is built over time
Understanding ETFs and how they differ from shares
Different approaches to investing and portfolio building
The importance of long-term investing
Aligning investments with your goals and circumstances
Thursday 20 August, 12-1:30pm
