Legacy in Motion

For 59 years, Carla Zampatti was more than a fashion designer – she was a visionary businesswoman whose name became synonymous with power, polish, and presence. This WIN event took place in her original flagship salon, now redesigned by Thomas Hamel, where she built not only her creative legacy but an enduring brand.

We were joined by Alex Schuman, Carla’s son and now CEO of Carla Zampatti, for a conversation about succession, stewardship, and the financial responsibility of leading a heritage business into its next chapter. Alongside him Libby Allaway, personal stylist and founder of Let’s Connect Women, brought a unique perspective on the psychology of fashion – exploring how personal style can shape professional presence, influence and self-assurance in high-stakes environments.

Together, they explored the intersection of identity, legacy and leadership – opening up a conversation about the power of self-presentation and the mindset required to carry influence, across generations and industries.
